Dr. Susan Parr Downsizes to Georgia Location

by | Jan 18, 2021

Dear Patient:

After over 30 years of practicing audiology in central Pennsylvania, I have decided to move south to spend more time with my grandchildren. The last day of my practice in Pennsylvania is December 31, 2020.

To all of my Georgia patients: I will continue to serve Demorest, Georgia in the Habersham Medical Center.

I have enjoyed meeting and serving all of my patients – helping people hear again is my passion, and I have valued you, your trust, and the many friendships I’ve made through the years.

It’s simply time for me to travel south and spend as much time as I can with my five beautiful grandchildren: Easton (8), Emma (6), Eli (4), Vera (2), and Jack (1).

I want you to know that I am leaving you in great hands with Dr. Tessa Knisely, Au.D. If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Knisely, you are in for a treat! Dr. Knisely is a Board Certified Doctor of Audiology and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology. She is originally from Claysburg, PA and is involved in multiple community organizations and events. Dr. Knisely received her Doctor of Audiology from the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh.

I have worked alongside Dr. Knisely for over three years now, and I have worked with Dr. Cheri Oswant for over one year. I have full confidence that they will take outstanding care of the patients I have had the privilege of serving for many years.

Again, thank you for your business and trust. I will miss you all! It has been a pleasure to serve you, and I am confident you will be pleased with Dr. Tessa Knisely, who will take my place as owner of the practice on January 2, 2021.

To all of my Georgia patients: I will continue to serve Demorest, Georgia in the Habersham Medical Center.

Sincerely,

Dr. Susan J. Parr, Au.D.
